arrowThe Competitive Sports Debate continues…

Enjoyment is all – and a bit of teamwork helps!

We believe that if a child enjoys what they’re doing, then clearly their participation levels will increase, whether it’s Maths and English, Geography, Sports or anything else on the school curriculum. Great teachers know how to engage their children and get them involved and enthusiastic about their subject.

Our coaches understand how important enjoyment is and make it top of their aims for each session they run.

Enjoyment is key to getting children into physical activity and we also see that participating together in a team increases a child’s engagement and enjoyment of sport. Competing as a team against other classmates and also against other schools is a great way to develop ability and enjoyment. It also means sharing successes and helps children build friendships, develop social skills and support each other when things get a bit tough!
